I'm great, we finally got some snow!! I'd say somewhere around two inches. I'd like to take some pics of Zoe (terrier) playing in it but she won't stay still long enough!
No big plans for the weekend yet. Well, unless you consider house work plans ; )
Really happy it's Friday. It's 5 degrees in Denver right now and we had 20 below windchill this morning. This has been the craziest winter for us. :)
So, my weekend plans probably mostly involve warm places like home and maybe some coffee shops with a good book. I wanted to go skiing, but it's no fun when it's this brutally cold.
My poor puppy is so frustrated that we haven't been able to get outside much. If it warms up on Sunday a bit, I'll take her to the dog park.
I'm going to an "80's Prom" some friends of mine are throwing at a VFW hall - they're gonna have a DJ playing all 80's tunes, and everyone is encouraged to dress up 80's.
Mom's being released from prison...errr...I mean the nursing home tomorrow, so I'm making a big pot of homemade chicken pot pie and the whole family is getting together for her welcome home.
Sunday is foxhunting, weather permitting. And health permitting...I've been hideously sick all week.
Well, I was having a decent week--was really trying to recommit to my exercise and eating plan I started at the first of the year, and went to a yoga class last night--and then as I was coming down the stairs from the yoga studio, I put a foot wrong, twisted my ankle badly and went down hard. Ouch! I went to the doctor today just in case--it's just sprained, not broken, thank goodness, but it will keep me from being able to do much weight-bearing exercise for at least a week or so...so pretty ironic that it happened because I went to an exercise class, LOL.
In any event, I invited one of the guys I'm dating to come over to watch the Superbowl with me--I told him upfront that I'm not going to be able to do much cleaning or cooking becaues of my foot so not to expect much. He volunteered to make his famous (according to him!) chocolate chip cookies, so that will be nice ;-).
