I had a crush once when I was in a relationship with my ex. LOL I would NEVER have done anything about it - I will not cheat, and my heart is faithful. Just a little crush is fine as long as it's not acted upon. But I know what you mean. So as long as you know he's just a fun little distraction, there's nothing wrong with a little crush action going on there. :)

I tend to develop crushes on my co-workers easily. Guys i wouldn't normally be into. I think it's because i am around them all the time and i start thinking "maybe?" i don't usually act upon it though.

I currently have a big crush on my married Japanese manager...funny, but ever since I told him I went to my private company reimbursed award dinner with a female friend, he started to change into flirtatious behavior/comments. I know I could never do anything with him in reality, but it is flattering to have this younger Japanese hottie acting flirtatous towards me, especially when he sees that my cubicle neighbor is absent from her cube.

Depending on how fertile women are at a given point in time, they can develop crushes on anything that moves and can fertilize them.

OK maybe not that extreme, but the crush threshold is definitely lowered during fertility.

Am I right or wrong ?

Oh I have a complete crush on the nerdy funny uber-smart md/phd at my office! He always stops by and says hello, which in this industry can be rare. Most of the important people don't have the time of day for the office manager. He's very sweet and sincere, but alas, he has a girlfriend he buys cookies for. *sigh*

Ah, but girlfriends are not wives. You never know when he might be single again. Not that I advocate pining away waiting for that, but you just never know. :)

I had a major crush on a friend of a friend, but he was engaged and now married -- to the most annoying woman on the planet -- but married is married, and that's sacred to me. I'd never mess with that. :)

I have a funny one - the son (who i have never met) of a dear co-worker. :)

I am so very fond of this co-worker, and he is quite nice to me (he lives nearby and even watered my plants for me every day while I was away on vacation). He has a wife he seems to love very much, a daughter who was just married and a son who is just a few years older than me and not married. I've asked about the son, and he seems to have his life together quite nicely. And if he's anything like his father, he is kind, genuine and delightful. There's a picture of him on my co-worker's cubicle wall, and he is also very handsome!

I haven't yet resigned my crush to the realms of the impossible, though I know it might be a bit far-fetched. A girl can dream, right?

Ok, have you asked the dear dad if the son is single? Have you hinted that you might be available and amenable to a set-up with the handsome son?

I feel like something is just begging to be done on this one!

Funny you should say that, my mom said the same thing. But he is in Gay Paris with said girlfriend, and my spidey sense there maybe an engagement announcement when he gets back.
You're also right on about marriage and/or engaged. Definitely hands off land.
