Well, I don't think mine have predictive powers or we'd be living in a STRANGE universe...but one of my friends seems to have oddly prophetic dreams. Once in college, she was dozing off and another of my roommates and I were talking about a car crash (I don't remember the details). She sat bolt upright and said she'd had a dream with almost the exact same details. She's not the type to make something like that up for attention or what have you either.
As for me...I have odd dreams. :) I do think they have something to do with the way I'm usually feeling, though. Lately I've been having dreams about guys. None in particular, just random ones I've never met before. No one I'm interested in (in my dream) for more than just making out with, apparently. I think that's telling me something, LOL. :)
There's a boy I have known basically since I was born - our parents were in the same parentcraft class while pregnant - and I knew him all the way through school. I wasn't really romantically interested in him, though our parents had often joked about arranging a marriage. :)
anyhow, a couple years ago, after it had been years since I'd really seen him, he started showing up in a lot of my dreams. Some were just normal, some fairly romantic. There were times he'd show up nearly every night in some form or another, and then he'd be gone for months just to show up again. I also sort of wondered if it meant something important.
Now I think that he's often in my dreams because he was formative in some way. He's almost like an archetype for me, and he's probably in some part how I started learning about boys and what they're like. He's more like a stand-in for a bigger concept, like maybe in my dreams he represents men in general, or some type of man.
Maybe that's something like your dreams, though who knows? Dreams are strange!
Yes, I wonder a lot. Sometimes dreams or thought that come out of the blue, really do mean the other person is thinking of you. Or it could mean a harbinger of things to come...especially with your dream because it's out of the blue. OR it could simply be a mirror of what you are thinking/pondering.
When I had dreams of my ex...I really hoped they were because he still loved me and it was a harbinger of things to come. That made me happy. But then I saw this medium about it, and she said "no, it's your dream teacher's opening your heart" (which it did, the dreams reminded me what love was like. She said "they put a face on it...but going back to him is not an option". I was sad, of course. She told me to "remember and focus on the love".
Yours are interesting. Please let us know of any developements.
I've fallen asleep while watching TV before and dreamt about what was on TV.
I was thinking about it on my way to work, and maybe it has something to do with him being the first guy who showed interest in me, and since no guys are showing interest in me now he's popping back up.
My dreams are more than interesting.
