This may be kind of a stupid question...

This may be a stupid question, but I need some opinons (I appreciate them; thanks in advance);
Last Friday, I went out with this guy that I met through an online dating site. I wasin't sure how the date was going to work out, but we ended up having a really great time and we've been talking off and on this past week. We made plans earlier this week to go out a second time tonight, and made them concrete yesterday (he's offering to take me to dinner and a game of laser tag afterwards..kind of cute I think). However, this morning I have seem to woken up with a cold; not a really bad cold, but I'm not feeling like my total self. I'm trying to load up on medicine, antibiotics, and tea etc in hopes that it will make me feel better by tonight. My Dad and friends say that I should just take it easy tonight, but I was really looking forward to this date. What would you guys do?? Would you stay at home and rest, or go out?? Is it rude to go on a date with someone and be sick??
Thanks a bunch, and sorry if this seems like one of those "just use common sense" kind of questions :-)

However, if you really don't feel well - will you really have a good time? Would you rather be up to par when you see this guy again? If you don't feel up to it, there's nothing wrong with canceling. Just make sure he knows how much you were really looking forward to it and that you definitely want to reschedule.
AJ, enjoying life with C.
I would just do the dinner and not the running around of laser tag.
But I wouldn't bag out completely of the entire date just because of a cold.
Smile,
Deirdre
