Oh you poor arctic dwellers, you. The season to be jolly is over :(

Not in my neck of the woods though. It was 101 this evening when I was driving home. We have two seasons here - spring and summer. Summer will be gone by November. Spring will follow shortly afterward. Looking forward to spring !

It's 11:30 and only 65 degrees here, not 90ish.

Cannot imagine how people live in the Midwest and the Northeast. For more than half a year you are bundled up, living through hellishly cold, dark depressing days.

And Chicago's got to be the worst city in the world.

I have never been a guest of the city in the winter, but it is one of the best places I have traveled too. (April / May generally.) Great people I think, I always find it easy to strike up conversations anyplace I go.

I love the fall and winter seasons best....I would rather be cold than be sweltering hot and sweaty.

I can put more clothes on in the winter...I can only take off so much in the summer.

>>Can hardly wait to watch my husband play this year, finally!!

HUSBAND ??

Maybe you are not aware that talking about 'husbands' and 'wives' on this forum is taboo. Two members had their posting privileges revoked for mentioning their husbands.
