Myspace, Facebook..and whatever else is the fad of the time is turning a whole generation into social recluses. I have been to MySpace a few times and I can't stand it. It's possibly one of the ugliest websites in existence, regardless of whose profile you are looking at. I hate being startled by some obligatory background music that suddenly starts playing , and then there is some horrid background on every page, plus idiotic error messages like "You have to be logged in to do that" (do what ?). And the comments .. sheesh..

A friend of mine finally convinced me that I should put up a myspace page. 3 months ago, I finally did, but the site was not user friendly and I could not figure out how to use any of it. I haven't even done anything to my page yeat other than register, and I still get friend requests in my E-mail. Go figure.

My friend gave me the link to his page and told me to add him to his friends list and I could not even figure out how to do that! LOL!

So there my page just sits.......blank LOL

I say do it. Some of my friends convinced me to do it after i left my last job, just so we could keep in contact. So I did, and I'm glad I did it. you never have to worry about an email address changing. I have been contacted by people I didn't know too well, and it gave me a chance to get to know them better, so send the friend request.

Hey . . .be sure to send him a message too! I delete 99% of what shows up in my message box out of hand. Web cams and dating sites . .. spam. (-: I have been told I have ignored a few folks now. (-: Seems I should "look" before I delete! (-:

For me it is just an easy place to share pictures without tieing up peoples email with attachments! I don't even stay private, my life is to boring to be embarrassing these days . . .well, for the most part anyway. (-:

Oh . .. is it just me or are most of the "pimped out" pages really difficult to read?

Good luck!

I have a Facebook page. A couple of weeks ago a friend asked me to join and I went ahead and did so. Facebook was simple to set up and is fairly simple to use - though I do have a tendency to post messages on my own wall that are for my friends! One of my friends, I did it

Well, I have you beat. My boss gave me a gift, so I have one to open tomorrow. (-:

I feel like saying all kinds of things based on your post, but
