Happy Birthday!!! How are you celebrating? Will there be cake?!!??! How old are you now (is it ok for a woman to ask another woman that? Ha)?

Hmmm..I tend to have the same problem when it comes to buying things for myself. I like the other poster's idea of buying a memory. That sounds appealing.

One thing I have been thinking of for me is some pampering- massage, good haircut. I am so cheap I go too long between and have to talk myself into going when I'm long overdue. I like Asha where they do an aromatherapy scalp massage and then a hand massage during the cut, but it kills me to spend that much money on a haircut. So, I end up torn. But, right now, I want some pampering, so that's where my head is. How bout a mini spa day? Or something related that makes you feel good (I also love trips to Bath & Body Works where I stock up on yummy smelling stuff that makes me happy over the months until my next splurge).

If not one of those things, perhaps

Happy Birthday Shy!!! :-) I hope you have a good birthday today and that all goes well. I told myself when my birthday comes in April, I think I'm going to buy myself that bottle of perfume I've been wanting since it came out, SJP's Covet. I have Lovely, now I want Covet lol. I know it's expensive, as most perfumes are, but I really like Covet and I think I may buy myself that for my bday in a few months.

For your bday, why not opt out and get a massage? I've always wanted one of those, esp the hot stone ones. But goodness know how much they cost, I'm sure it's not cheap. But if you can afford it, you could go somewhere and get a massage. I've heard they are great and really helps to relieve all the tension and such.

Hope you have a good one!

Hey, happy birthday, Shy!!!

I tend to buy myself experiences--tickets to a show or concert, spa treatments, a night away.

Happy Birthday to you!! Mine is on Sunday. And since mom gives me money now, I usually either A) buy HER birthday gift (she's Valentine's Day) or B) pamper myself. I think what I'll do this year is a mini-spa day; I already bought her gift. Mr. Pooh is taking me away later this month for a combination birthday / Valentine's Day gift.

Last year, I had my ears re-pierced. I think jewelery is a nice gift - and it lasts.

Earrings or some other jewelry might hit the spot.

Happy Birthday!!!!

OK.....

1. If I didn't have my iPod, I'd buy one.

2. If I already had an iPod, I'd splurge and get a Bose Sound dock.

3. If I wasn't wanting to spend that much, I'd hit the mall and buy some new Bobbi Brown makeup (my favorite)

Let us know what you decide!!
