Has anyone else watched this show on Bravo?
I was flipping through channels last night, tired of hearing about all the politics and thought I'd watch, just to see what it was all about. Maybe I ended up watching on a ridiculous night, but I thought it was really stupid.
The first guy was a complete player.

I was initially curious about the show. Reputable matchmakers can be really helpful for wealthy people because they help screen out the gold diggers. Obviously not so much in this case.
You know what made me decide to never watch again? The episode I caught, the owner, whatever her name is, came in to the office and ranted at one of her employees about how average the women applicants were that the assistant offered for review. She said 7's don't cut it, or something like that. The next thing you hear out of her mouth is bitching about her male clients and all they care about is getting a "10" and how it disgusts her that they are so fixated on looks.
Hypocrite, much?
Yeah, the part where she "screened" the women digusted me, too.
I watched that episode this morning since we have yet another snow day in Chicago (not that I'm complaining). I agree with everything you said! I was annoyed by the first guy and really surprised when the second guy picked that blonde with the big lips. I was thinking she looked so ODD- and kept wondering what she actually looks like beneath the makeup.
The show is definitely spotlighting the superficial (both men and women) and gold digging.
I have a snow day today, too.
Atleast you got papers graded! I didn't do any! I also nap and just watch crappy TV and play on the internet. What a bum! I guess we shouldn't feel guilty for getting little accomplished- it IS a bonus day off, after all. But I'm not looking forward to the catch up and shifting plans tomorrow. We had a snow day last Fri too and we were just getting back on track from that one!
As for the show- YES, her forehead was HUGE. I thought the same thing and wondered why she would wear her hair in way that just accentuated it. SHe did wear it down for the date and it was better, but I was too distracted by the lips and heavy makeup to pay much attention to her hair or forehead! Yikes! Isn't it odd what some people consider attractive?
Is Patty the matchmaker who's show aired on A&E last year?
