Hi

I am wondering how common this is.

Today, in dance class, I was rebuffed by a woman I don't even know.

I think that the mistake that a lot of us make is assuming that other people's actions have anything to do with us.

No, she isn't feeling self-conscious at all...she was willing to share with everyone and when I looked at her, with a sympathetic look, because I understand what it is to have a relationship end (her story was amazing), she looked at everyone except me and once I looked at her, showing interest she tightened the circle.

And, yes, the last few days I noticed other things...so it's definitely me.

OK, this is just a thought...is it possible she has you confused with someone else? If that's not the case, then, I don't get it.

Unless you ask her directly, it's really wasted energy trying to figure her out.

HI.

I am positive she isn't feeling insecure.

You know I just read this book on my way home from a trip called "Kiss my Tiara" and one of the chapters or a section of the book is how as women we apologize for things we shouldn't there was no need for you to be apologizing for a guy backing up into you but your immediate reaction was to apologize to this buffoon. Anyhow it was a really interesting book I giggled when I read it.
