Divorced but can't get rid of him!

I have been divorced from my XH for years now and I STILL cannot get away from his stupidity!

Yesterday, I came home from work to find my kitchen garbage can overturned and the contents strewn all over the kitchen floor. While picking up the contents, I found a plastic grocery bag with a clear plastic to-go box filled with fried chicken bones. Also in the bag was a plastic fork and a used napkin. Obviously, someone's lunch - Ewww. Later, my daughter told me when her father had picked her up for the week-end, he asked her (since he is not allowed in my house) to throw his garbage away. Unfortunately, fried chicken smell is way enticing for the two cats. My XH (an adult with a master's degree) does not have enough common sense to put smelly garbage in the garbage can outside in the carport, or just keep his garbage in the car until he gets home.

I don't know whether to laugh (Hee Hee he's still as stupid as ever he'll never change glad I left him) or be angry (grrr I've divorced him and I still can't get rid of him I've STILL got to pick up his garbage!)

What do you think?

I think it's impossible to get rid of him when you have children with him. If you make a deal of this, it won't do any good. In fact, he may have known what would happen and doesn't care, and if he learns first hand what did happen, he might enjoy it. So I would pick the, "Hee Hee he's still as stupid as ever he'll never change glad I left him" method of coping.
