Just a little reminder...

Hi Adam,
I didn't see any of the posts that were deleted, but I know one of them was yours and there's been a lot of talk about disruptive posts. I also saw the post you had to rlch and the follow up after she explained her situation - a lot of situations are like that here, where there is a lot more to the story than is in one post. I know it may feel like there is man-bashing, but most often it is someone bashing their particular ex (or venting) because their ex (who just happens to be male) is making their life harder and venting is necessary for them - and since this is a support board, that is okay. I re-read your posts to rlch, and I can see you are a reasonable guy - you didn't understand the situation and you asked about what was going on and why the situation was what it was, and when she explained further, you said you saw where she is coming from. I don't know what the deleted posts were about, so I can't speak to them. We have had other men post here and I don't think it was a problem. I personally think a board is better when it has people from different sides of the issue so I hope you can stick around and get to know the group and what we are about, and continue to bring your point of view to the table. My point of view is different from many people on this board, and it is possible to share a different point of view and still be supportive.
Hi Adam..... OK... I'll say it!
