We had an absolutely wonderful trip. Some of our magical moments included getting to meet a whole bunch of characters including Lilo and Stitch, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Aladdin, Jasmine, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Baloo (sp?) and the Orangatan from the Jungle Book, Dopey, Kenai and Koda (Brother Bear--the first movie Joey ever went to at the theater), Pinnochio, Rafiki, Nemo, Belle and the Beast and more... he got pictures taken with all of them... Tigger attempted to "steal" Joey's Mickey Mouse hat... and Donald attempted to steal Joey's safari Donald... both attempts were unsuccessful, but tickled Joey to pieces... Joey loved dancing with each of the characters...

He got to take a special walk, just him and Pooh Bear, when Pooh had a rumbly in his tummy that he needed to fix with some honey...

Joey loved playing on the space themed playground near the exit to Mission Space... and loved playing on the firetruck in Innovations even more... We rode the Astro Orbiter three times, once at night, which was a treat, but rode Buzz Lightyear's ride about 10 times right in a row... Its a Small World was another one of Joey's favorites, along with Pirates of the Caribbean, Winnie the Pooh, and the Safari ride in Animal Kingdom...

Mom and I thought Soarin was the best ride, even though Joey didn't want to ride, so we had to trade off...

We got to ride in the front car of the monorail on its journey from Magic Kingdom back to Epcot...

He got to watch the fish and sharks and rays and divers during dinner at Coral Reef... one of the divers really took time out to interact with the children who could see him as they were dining... Coral Reef is a restaurant in Living Seas and one wall is one of their aquariums, so the view is fantastic and kept Joey entertained so that my Mom and I could enjoy a quieter dinner... speaking of the food, we had the Disney Meal plan included in our package for free and we will definitely do it again as it definitely paid for itself (even if we do have to actually pay for it the next time)... Mom and I were amazed by our meals at Coral Reef, Le Cellier and the Teppanaki House, as well as our Breakfastasaurus and Breakfast with Pooh Bear... I hate to think how much those meals would have cost us, if we would have actually had to pay for them...

He really impressed me with his manners the entire trip... he never got off of a bus without saying thank you to the driver (as long as he was awake at least), he never left a restaurant (counter service or table service) without saying thank you to the host, he never left a character encounter without saying thank you... he even got to toot the horn on the train in Animal Kingdom because he told the conductor Thank you...

I have to say that I cried last night when we left Epcot for the last time and again this morning as we were taking things to the car... As a working Mom, I feel so guilty that I can only spend a few hours with Joey every day during the week... an hour or so in the morning and three to four at night, max... and I do think it affects him... he has seemed so much happier this week, though that may be just because we were in Disney, the happiest place on Earth... I feel such guilt sometimes about not being able to be there, but I don't have a choice to work, especially since I am a single mom... I'm working a nine hour day right now, but what that gets me in return, is one extra day off every other week... I do what I have to do and I know that he's doing well... although he reminds me a LOT of Stitch and insisted on a Stitch charm for my charm bracelet... he can be so cute and lovable and then... well, he is three... so you can imagine... even today when I was crying, he asked me why I was sad, and I told him because I had had such a great time with him this week and I didn't want to have to go home yet... he said, that's OK, Mommy, we'll come back again and you'll be happy... so sweet it made me cry harder...

I've got to go give my sweetie a hug... I'm crying again...

*hugs*
