Going on second divorce now...

HI...I never thought this would be happening to me....I really did not see my life turning out this way at all...

I was married to my first husband for 17 years, and we had ups and downs...but affairs on both our parts and his manic-depression ended our marriage...it has been 7 years now and we are civil and can talk about our children and both became re-married...

My second husband I loved more than any one I have ever loved in this world, besides my children...

That is why it was so devastating his affair and leaving me after 8 months of marriage (we had lived together for 2 years before he asked me on a Christmas Eve to marry him 2 years ago, rather ruined Christmas for me now...)

Since it was

Sex starved,

You've been betrayed. Your husband wasn't honest enough to tell you he didn't want to be with you before you were married. Perhaps there was a lull in his at-work relationship when he married you so he figured it would be better than nothing. So, I think your bagging up his things in garbage bags and setting them outside is very appropriate! It sends a strong message!

That said, I'd be very careful about getting involved with someone else right now, even if you truly are "sex starved." As women, we tend to associate sex with initimacy and emotional affirmation. Not so with men.

You'll also want time to heal and to process what it is you want from a relationship and the kind of man you really want to share your life with. Set your standards high. "Settling" for someone is a bad idea just to escape being lonely, etc. You're broken hearted and its hard to be objective about others. So keep your head in your dating.

Good luck and let us know how you're doing.

Learn to spell. Some commonly misspelled words on this board:

They're = contraction of "they are"; They're going to the store.
