At little humor where you can find it-I just discovered an advantage to having your STBX living in the home-water is leaking from a pipe in the wall in a bathroom in the house. It's 102 degrees out and I've been crawling under the house trying to-well I have no idea what I could do even if I could find anything-Where's a man when you need one

somedays you've just got to laugh or else.......

Well, is STBX helping with the leaky pipe?

Hi Daisy
I laughed when I read your post (had seen your other one as well). When my STBX moved out of the house, the snowblower broke, the central vac broke and my sink got clogged. I talked to a lot of the people at work, asking questions etc., and FIXED THEM ALL!! I was so d*&% proud of myself. So I certainly appreciated the irony and humour in your post :)

I guess one advantage to having STBX in the house would be having someone to fix the plumbing problems...IF you have a STBX who can/will do it.

STBX and I are still in the same house until our younger son finishes this semester of school, then my son and I will move into our apartment. Last week when one of the bathroom sinks became completely clogged (it was the sink in STBX's bathroom, not mine) I was the one who ended up fixing it. It took me a couple of days (it really was completely clogged) and I was furious that he had

Well after the AC also conked out in our 100+ degree temp yesterday my STBX will be making his 1st "home visit" since November-we have seen each other most memorably last Wed. when he allowed his lawyer to play the bad boy role for him in my deposition in which the conclusion after 3 1/2 hours was I might be reading (and buying) too many books and I must "butt out" of my grown boys' lives.

Should be an interesting afternoon! Again, my heart goes out to those of you having to share homes with these guys-I guess my STBX was so shocked that I told him he needed to find another place (he ran to his mommy's house) he didn't realize I couldn't make him leave-I didn't realize it either but by getting him out then and having an emergency court hearing for financial assistance from him in which the judge ruled I could stay in the house until everything is decided I did OK. Very quiet-very lonely but the alternative-no way! I am learning how to do so many things but can't afford to have wood flooring damaged any further with the leaky pipe that I can't find.

It's funny how he would say that you must have broken it.

What a day! As I suspected it was "my fault" there was a leak-the tank in the upstairs bonus room bathroom had a screw that rotted out because I had put a bleach tablet in there and water was in the wall-not a busted pipe but did cause a
