Living Well

Its been a long summer and as I sit in my apartment watching the leaves change I have come to the realization that Living Well is truely the best way to move on and make a point. I refuse to waste any more of my time thinking about him or what went wrong.

STBX-H has been exposed as a fraude and a fink. His job is in jeopardy as he is no longer the star of the Law firm (guess who proofed EVERYTHING he wrote??) and his friends look at him with disdain for his actions.

I am getting ready to go back to work but I am going to spend more time doing pro bono work for survivors of Cancer. I also plan on doing much more fund raising for Cancer Research.

So the nights get a little cooler, the leaves turn their amazing colors and I THank God for giving me a second chance at life.

I will survive and I shall be happy.

I am so happy for you! It seems like you are doing well and your positive outlook is something that I admire and hope to someday have. It is very noble and selfless of you to work to help others. I hope that things turn out very well for you, you deserve it!

Your post inspired me. I think the pivotal moment I went from "sad, abandoned wife" was when I realized all the things I never would have done with him. I know I never would've went to Paris and enjoyed it the way one is supposed to (he has a general disdain for art, culture, and wine). I would've never traveled to Morocco (he couldn't understand why anyone would want to go there). In a way, I think there was a sort of death of the woman I would've been. Now I see that I much rather prefer the woman I now have the chance to be and I intend on living my life well!
