Yup. It's "normal" to feel numb when someone whom you thought loved you says they don't, says they're leaving, packs up and leaves, and then plays manipulation games with you after he goes out the door.


I say you are doing the right thing by not responding to his messages.

you can't legally change the locks ...i wanted to do the same after my STBX left , but was told by my attorney , that I had to wait until the protective order had been filed . Legally , the house belongs to both of you until it is awarded to one of you . ...and he has the right to enter the premises , unless ordered not to ....as in a temp order (which comes standard with a restraining order ) or a protective order .
