Thanks for checking in, Toni. I'd been wondering how you were doing :-)

Your hike sounds lovely. Did you go on the same trail that you helped build? And you went kayaking... Lucky, lucky, lucky girl! I was never very good at it, but the little I did was very enjoyable.

Congratulations on the side business, too. Wow. I'm amazed.

You rock, girl!

((((((((((hugs))))))))))

I'm sorry the negative voices have been vocal. I don't know what they are saying, but you are a very good person who does what she says she will do and who is clearly going places.

More gentle hugs,

Congratulations, my friend. You certainly deserve time out to take your breath, but I'm so very happy for you. You are a star!

Actually - the trails we hiked were in theNC mountains - the trail I helped create is a locate trail. Love me some mountains!

this was my 2nd time kayaking - got dumped out after taking a stump broad side - a few bruises later....;)

I've been reading a good book that may help the other poster who spoke of the negative voices - The Four Agreements - another one that I like for building belief in yourself is Fat Broke and Lonely No More - its a fun look at the emotional lies that we buy into that causes us to embrace being fat, broke and lonely rather than fit, propserous and loved.....:)

Youch (for the bruises).

What's a locate trail?!? You are talking to a hardcore city girl here.

You are lucky to have the mountains (easily) accessible to you! I am not a hiker but I do admire those who do hike. The times I hike are the times I go off-roading with friends, and I haven't gone in years because I was living abroad. For a city girl, I do love being in nature even if it stresses me out a lot lol!

Is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz? I just looked it up on Amazon and it looks very interesting as does Fat, Broke and Lonely No More. I'll have to look out for these.

It's rally nice to talk to you again, Toni.
