I need help!! I need something quick and easy and romantic and good to have for dinner tonight!
anyone have any suggestions??? He's not picky at all, so as long as it is food... it'll be okay. Just want something that isn't going to stress me out having to cook it!! lol

If he's a "meat and potato's" kind of guy like MINE is, you can't go wrong with a steak/baked potato (or some kind of "noodle" side dish that are a dime a dozen at the supermarket) and a big green salad. Wine and you're ready to go.
When I make my baked potatos, i rub them with shortening (after stabbing them) and then roll them in "montreal steak seasoning" and then just put them directly onto the rack for the 45 minutes to an hour that they need (depending on size) and they come out better than any potato you've had in a restaurant (or, it's fun to change up with a Sweet Potato to serve with Brown sugar and butter sometimes too. J loves those)
I think that's a SERIOUSLY non-stress meal. Especially if you buy one of those nice specialty lettuce premade salads. Looks impressive. Zero time to prepare.
I'm not sure what a "romantic easy" meal would be.
It's too hot to cook inside..here anyway.

I ended up doing steaks on the grill and baked potatoes, rolls and green beans. It was actually very yummy and simple and he really liked it, so I did good!!
Thanks for all your suggestions! I just worry a lot and want everything to be just perfect... which nothing is ever that way, so I don't know why I try so hard!! lol :-)
Thanks again!
Sounds good. Glad it went well. Men really are VERY simple. And you proved you could cook! Points for you!
I think we ALL try that hard at times. Especially in the beginning of a relationship. There are so many standards that you feel obligated to try to meet...until you really get to know someone and realize that he isn't holding you to all of those standards (if he's truly a good man) and in all honesty just wants to know
