Jack ended up coming over last night after go-carting ( what you don't think a kid of brougth up around race cars and go-carts DOESN't do that as an adult?) and we had a nice evening. Alyse can finally get her bedroom door open (old house so it doesn't sit even and opens hard agains the carpet) and she woke us up at 7:00 am! It was funny but she was in a bad mood. She got in bed and threw and fit. Jack and I took turns grabbing our sanity in the bathroom (pee time lol) and came back and we started to imitate her (whining kicking screaming flalling arms) it was actually FUN and funny too because she stopped and said "Stop it guys!" and was an angel for the rest of the mornign LMBO!

I had a great GREAT meeting today too at 10:00. I have a lot of work lined up! I am really excited about it. In fact, it is for a high rise high end condo development in downtown Royal Oak and the guy in charge even wants me to come to some functions for it (no not a date - he is married - business functions!) So that is great because it can increase my networking and lead to more business!!!! YAY! I got this through my old supervisor at McCann who is a great great guy. And he is friends with these people and has been for a long time so this is good! It isn't enought to live on alone - or get it back to my old income BUT it is good and will help and I can still hang with Alyse more and do other stuff too!

Things are going well with Jack too - I hope that it turns out well - I can't imagine he won't decide to take this step to becoming a legit couple. But who knows. If he doesn't he'll be back ;) I asked him last night (talk about TRYING to freak him out LOL) that even if we didn't stay together if he would go to the court with me and say we were getting married in order for Dave's rights to be removed. He was a little hesitant on perjury (sp?) But said that he would consider it but to wait for a few months - I told him I wasn't planning on doing it for 6 months anyways. Then I said "Who knows, maybe by then it WILL be true" I thought the man was going to shiver to nothing - it was FUNNY. But it only "shriveled" him for a minute hahahaha. The reason I asked is because if I am not perminently/stably employed the chance of them doing it is slim. If I am getting married - that is different. Either way I will have grounds to have his rights forcably removed. He would have to hire a lawyer to fight for his rights which would backfire because if he can pay for a lawyer - why isn't he paying me child support (although he isnt' obliigated to by law he is looking bad by not trying too)

Well - have to meet my sis for lunch and do some WORK! yay!!!!!!

Hi Laura,

Good to hear you are having an up day. Thanks for sharing your story.

Just keep your cool with Jack and don't put any pressure on him for time. Stay busy and take care of yourself and Alyse and everything will fall into place.
