Our agent called this morning and confirmed that the squatters will be taking until Sunday night to move out. So Shane has taken this weekend off, and we have no one now to help us move in the house Monday and he's gonna be working all day anyway. I made it clear the keys WILL BE in our hands Sunday night because we have the cable guy showing up at around 10 to turn us on. I expect to be able to let him do his job and not to have to reschedule.
Who in their right minds will be able to show up after work during the week to help us lift very heavy items??? I mean come on! We have a huge covered trailer so our stuff is safe, but we just can't move in.
My mom told me we should just pull up to the house on Saturday with the trailer in tow and begin unloading. Boy that would tick them off, wouldn't it?
I hate squatters!

Who in their right minds will be able to show up after work during the week to help us lift very heavy items??? ... Good friends always will Mel. Sometimes a job is just not able to be done at a more convienent time. Promise them a big platter of lasagna and garlic bread and/or a case of beer and they'll come get it done!
This will all be over soon. PLEASE find a way to stop fretting and remember that however it happens, you WILL be moved into your new home in a week or so, and this will be finished. No more house hunting, paperwork nightmares, closing concerns, moving and packing...It'll be done. This too shall pass...
Hugs
Normally, I would say Yes, start unloading...but I just KNOW they would take your stuff too.

Yeah, I could see them helping you unload all your things into their truck...
Perhaps you can show up and help THEM move OUT??? I can just picture you, "here let me help you with this" and throw it out the window...
LOL
And breathe...
