When I first posted on Ivillage, I believe it was in the "Is it meant to be?" forum and "Should I stay or Should I Go" & "Breaking Up Is Hard to do".
I've been a member since 2000 but turned really active on the message boards in 2002 when I needed some support & advice for my relationship. After 3 different forums and now this one because I am a single mother now....I have changed.
I've matured, and come to really know what a relationship is about. Its hard work and takes two!! I remember all of the threads I use to make questioning is it me, what am I doing wrong?? I needed to love me first and take time to grow...over the 3 years I've been on the message baord, I have grown.
Unfortunetly, he stayed with me when I did wrong while growing, but left me when I finally learned and started doing right.
I have my good days and bad days. Last night was a bad one...cried myself to sleep in my childrens room. Just can't beleive im back to being a single mother after 3 years. Im not getting any younger.
The first post on the board or on ivillage?

Love is an emotional rollercoaster indeed.
I started lurking on this board about a year before I decided to start dating again. I started posting when I did start dating.
I might think I've changed, but I probably haven't changed much :)
Your point about it taking 2 is very good - so basic but I think that most women overlook that until it is too late.
How are you doing now?
Im hanging in there....

One day at a time is the ticket.
