Which most of you know is a HUGE deal for me. It is the LAST huge step of what I want in my life (aside from a relationship) that is left on my list. All other things have been

Yay Cat!!! Congratulations!
So does that mean you've figured out where you want to stay now? I remember you having some discussion before about not knowing where you wanted to live. (if I don't have you mixed up with someone else). I guess TX is out of the choices, huh?!?
Have fun house-hunting! My next big purchase will be a new car... but not for awhile yet, as I'm still saving up (I have a big CD brewing just for a car purchase) and the ol' mommy-van is still running well. But that doesn't mean I don't still DREAM

Congratulations, Cat! That is quite an accomplishment. See what a strong independant single mom can do???
Yay for you!!!
Now the fun part...seaching the listings and going to open houses!
Well as Shrimpy figured, yes, I think I'm staying very clear from Texas. I am actually considering moving us to Wilmington (for those that are unfamiliar, its where I go surfing every weekend and it's 3 hours away from Charlotte) again, because I can now live anywhere now.
I have been looking here too and it's fun to do this with the girls now. :)
Edited to add: I think I'm mostly excited because EVERYTHING I ever accomplished, bought, dreamed of and succeeded at was because alone, without a man. So this is the last accomplishment. I've been able to make myself a 100% successful but when I was married, I wasn't allowed to. :( But in the last 7 years and prior to my marriage I seemed only to succeed when I was alone without the jealousy issues that a man had.
