Our first day

Okay -so today was our first "day" together.
The original plans were for him to pick me up at 10A. But the waverunner had a technical problem and so we opted for the beach. There is one south of here that we can take the dogs to and while we are at it we can check out the waverunner dock because that is a fun place to go with the waverunner - so even if the weather is bad it is a fun drive.
And we got there quickly and found a good spot. We had fun walking the dogs in the water and talking and sat a couple of hours and then went to check out the marina. We also ate a light lunch that I had packed - he really liked it and thought it was thoughtful of me.
We took a tour of the area and got to see the marina - he liked it and so we said when it is working that is one of the places we can go.
Then we went to an early dinner - he said no way am I going to cook! He got major brownie points for that. And I think he was impressed at how fast I could put myself together from being at the beach to going to dinner. Although we decided I have to cook his favorite dish in the whole world which is Fettucini Alfredo - he wants a fat-free version of that - because he really watches his weight and knows he can't have the real one. We shared a huge salad and a thin pizza. And he says that if I love that place there is another with pasta from the same owner that he wants to take me.
And he asked if I had fun today and I said yes. And so he will talk to me during the week. I did explain that DS is going with his dad on Friday just so he knows that ahead of time. He was asking if that is the last weekend before my trip and I said yes.
So it is all good - in a way a building block - with more to come. I did get a very hot kiss!! LOL!!
