OK after a almost daily string of coffee dates from women off Match and eHarmony, I ended this past holiday weekend with no mutually satisfying prospects.

This isnt such a bad update! I know you want SOMEthing to happen, but it doesnt have to be "it".

I hope you find someone that is a great match for you. All in all they don't sound bad just maybe not quite right yet. The two Pam thing really is odd. Maybe you really do need that spreadsheet.

"with my feeling worn down physically and not knowing why that is the case."

Well, it didn't help that Gemgirl got you all riled up with her sex/ preferences talk and then decided there was no chemistry!

Oh yeah.. that WAS the case with GemGirl.. I must admit I did get more interested in her because of that.

Mark,

Maybe there doesnt have to be chemistry right away. Maybe a friendship for a few months to a year and see if there is chemistry after that.

My head still spins keeping track of them all.

Each woman I have met I would love to have as a friend but I do not have the time or emotional energy to create a new friend. From my past experience from another relationship, I know I need to have chemistry after the first couple of dates.

The thing with so many women, it just takes a week to go back down to starting over again from zero.

Acks - that was quite a whirl there. No one can say you are lazy in the dating department!! :-) I just know that if you keep on getting out there, you will bring up the right one. Don't give up! The right one is home right now wishing she had someone like you.

We are enjoying your stories in the mean time - how crazy that you have 2 Pams with stomach ailments!

I am curious - can you detect chemistry at all through a picture and voice? Or do you sort of find them attractive and then determine all sense of chemistry through a date?
