Ok, so you can view the wedding photos @

smadshare.snapfish.com/snapfish

We had a great visit, didn't overwhelm M with all the family and he got to see a couple old friends that live in the area too. The wedding was beautiful, D4 did well, behaved perfectly and was an angel. If you look at the folks in the background of some of the pictures you can see she and the ring bearer stole the show. We did lots of dancing at the reception, even got my boys on the dance floor, wish someone had taken a picture of that!

My niece was married in the same church that I was married in and since like myself and PsychoBoy, she and her now husband have been a couple since they were in middle school, and his family is pretty disfunctional, I worry she has a whole lot of heartache in front of her. They do seem very well suited for one another, so I will hope that for her, things work out differently. They went to Antigua for the honeymoon.

M fit in with my family very well. He and my BIL got along great and M took BIL to an Indians game when he met his old friends there. Unlike PsychoBoy, who everyone was worried for me about right from the start, everyone thinks M is a fun guy and good for me. M went to the cemetery with me and the family. My dad and most of his family are buried across the street from the church where the wedding was performed. So my sister took the flowers she brought for the wedding service across the street to place on the graves and most of my family joined in. It was a bit disconcerting for D4 as it was the first time she's been in a graveyard.

It'll take me a while to catch up, you guys are such busy posters.

I haven't gone to see the link, but thanks for posting some pics here! Gorgeous dresses on both the bride and your DD! You daughter is beautiful. Her big brothers will have to buff up their muscles to weed out those boyfriends when she gets older... ;-)

Great photos!

LOL Yes, there always is someone who becomes a total pain in the rear when planning a wedding. The bridesmaid is my niece's best friend since about 6th grade. She's always been somewhat a prima donna but they've always got along. This girl has a BF who is a nightmare. He drinks way too much most of the time and then starts fights, as in call the cops to break it up barroom brawls. So my niece told her friend she could NOT bring this guy to her wedding. The friend then turned into the manipulative demon from Hades and picked and cajoled and complained and threatened she would not come to the wedding herself.
The M of G was and has been a total nightmare. She got totally drunk and was telling my BIL, (father of the bride) stories about how she caught the young uns in compromising situations when they were teens. This woman, about 50, was completely wrecked before dinner was served. So I do worry about the life ahead for my niece, the drunk of a MIL just has it in for her.
But the worst drunk of the wedding was from our side of the family, one of the cousins, 22 yrs old, got so drunk he had to be taken to the hospital. So it was a wild party in spite of my niece's aspiration for an elegant affair.
