have your hormones changed completely?

Before I got pregnant it took a lot to get me to cry but now even commercials can get me teary eyed. I'm watching Hope Floats (with Sandra Bullock) and the part where the Dad drives away from the little girl who wants to go with him is on and I'm crying like a baby. So, does sad stuff affect you more now that you have kids or is it just me?

Sad stuff affects me more, too, but I think it has to do with life experience.
the worst show ever is extreme home makeover. I just can't watch that show.
I think you may be right about the life experiences, that makes more sense to me as to why everything makes me cry.
Thanks for the tissue. =-)
I agree with soonee.
Yes, it seems the older I get the more sappy I get. I agree with Soonee, it is partly that I can identify with the situation, but I also think it is partly my hormone wackiness. At 47, I am a roller coaster of hormones. Can't you wait til it's your turn?LOL I cry at movies I've seen twice. You'd think after the first viewing I'd be immune to it the second time. So, you are perfectly normal, no Prozac therapy needed.

I'm 46 and I never know how I am going to react to emotional situations.
