Hugs!!
Big (((((HUGS))))) just remember that even though the Beastie is spreading his wings and testing his boundaries with you...you're still mommy and I guarantee he misses you right back!
M...with you 100% on panic mode..although i am a freak and the girls at DDs daycare even tell me. Im just glad I give them a chuckle with my paranoia...LOL
Hugs! I feel for ya...
I get that way every summer when DD goes up to her grandma's house. I enjoy the quiet for about a half and hour then I miss her like crazy!
Hang in there!! I'm sure your DS will have a blast and will stay safe :o)
((HUGS)) BTDT for sure. But you have to let them go, be their own people, responsible for their own choices. My S19 has been on his own since Nov 07. I still hear from him about once a week. His job is a bit dangerous, climbing up on those lift towers, but I know he's a total spider, loves what he's doing, so I really try not to think about the what ifs. It is an adjustment, but I anticipate it is when the youngest goes off on her own that I'll really sob.

Think of it as practice!
Thanks ladies!!
I must admit I grinned at your description of ds at the beast! I have a 17 year old ds & yep fits perfectly! ;o)

I think its just the idea of not being able to get in touch with him at all that bothers me.

I'm sorry I'm late to jump in, but SO glad you're feeling a bit better today.
I'm sure we all experience the miss-my-kid feeling at times, and I can SO understand your blues over not being able to be in touch at all.
