I never sweat a one date wonder, and I seem to be the queen of them. I've been stood up too, and thats the end of it for me. I hate being stood up with as tight as my schedule is.
However, sometimes guys like that will come back a month from now and ask you out again... it just really depends. If he said he'd call to make plans then I would maybe go out with him again. If he said hey I'll call you Saturday to make plans for Sunday and never called I'd be irate. Because I would of made sure my Sunday was free.
I have this one guy that I'm just not into at all. And pretty much every 4-5 months I get a call from him to go out. He takes me to some amazing place for an incredible dinner, tries to make the moves, I turn him down and don't from him again for ages LOL. Its happened three times, I don't think there will be a fourth.
I think I should make myself a queen of the one date wonders crown.. Take a pic, make it my avatar lol.
and by then, it was too late."
"Why bother" is right.
Although i know how tempting it is to want to KNOW ... just dont call! STEP AWAY FROM THE PHONE ... EMAIL! lol
& absolutely, if he calls NOW for the weekend ... I would be "busy" as well.
So I am curious if you are not into this guy at all then why keep accepting date invitations from him?
Do you talk about the lack of attraction with him? Do you do the "let's just be friends" speech?
Isn't this what people call "leading him on?"

Thanks for the replies.
Mark,
You're right... sort of. The first time it was a normal date getting to know eachother, and he made hints about going back to his place and I was no way into that. The second time was so far apart from the first date that I thought hmm ok, I"ll give this one more shot.. same thing happened. The third date, I was asked out at a moment where I was kinda bummed and bored, and yes I accepted just so I could get out of the house. And of course once again I had to deal with him wanting to have sex.
and by then, it was too late."
Yes I would call and email. Then if he strings you along again or refuses to answer/reply I avoid him like the plague.

Update.
"I don't like feeling forgotten so - NEXT." I can totally understand how you would feel. But remember, it was only one date so far, and you need more than that to be remembered.
If you have been reading Mark and Mike's reports - they are dating a lot of women each week - sometimes more than 1 or 2 per day. So, this guy is probably just juggling too many or maybe he got really busy at work. That is the way it is on OLD.
I don't think you should burn the bridge - I would wait until the middle of the week and then send back a chatty type sentence just to show you are still interested - if indeed you still are.
The dating process is surely trying on everyone's nerves. HUGS!! You have a pretty picture and seem funny by what you write - I was cracking up at CRS - very cute!! Hang in there!
