Yeah I know, sounds pathetic...lol...but I am tired of having no girlfriends...Is there anyone in the Tulsa, OK area?

I am 43, raising my 5 yr old granddaughter and still in the midst of divorce... Anybody close for girl chat? coffee? etc? LOL....

I go through periods of feeling that way too!!! I am not near you otherwise I would totally invite you to coffee.
You should think of joining meetup. Go to meetup.com and enter in some interests that you have - it is generally either very cheap or free to join a meetup group ( I run one for dog owners and I dont charge them anything) and you immediately meet new groups of people all who have something in common with you! It is a great site and not about romance really , very friendly - although I am sure sometimes romance sparks, it isnt a pick up joint site which I think is great for meeting new firends!!

Hi citylife! Thanks =)

I signed onto our local Meetup group sometime ago...alas the local group lost their leader and it has kind of disbanded. Also the meetings were either at night or on Sundays..lol..I was never able to attend for lack of a sitter..bummer..

I wonder if maybe you can find some friends through your grand daughter? With activities? Or maybe there is a class you can take - just something to get out of the house. Those lonely days and nights where a girls night would be the ticket - are just that - we need friends!! You look way too young to be a grandmom in your picture - I bet you would fit in fine with all the other moms!!

You're an Angel cl-West!! Lol.. I am a grandma a few times over... =)

When I was younger, making friends was easy. I went to college at the old age of 28 and had GREAT friends, alas the stbx kept throwing wrenches into that..(ie:jealousy). When school was over, we all went our seperate ways and lost contact.

I have met some of the 'mom's' at my granddaughters preschool. Many are in a different league than I am, as in upper class..I have tattoos, wear jeans, and am pretty easy going..my animals and dog rescue is big for me... I drink beer, not much wine. LOL! I have tried, I think, to extend my smiling face and put my guard down, no takers.

Now guy friends are easy, BUT they all eventually seem to want something ;)
