Well, I survived the orientation! I just spent the last two days, 8-10 hours each, in orientation and am sooo exhausted that I can't turn my brain off! It was odd to be driving home from the main campus today (1 hour away--I go to the local satellite office) with all this new legalese running through my head...last night was just as bad. I have only had about 8 hours of sleep over the last 4 days--my brain just doesn't want to shut off! Tonight I am trying to enjoy a glass of wine and a couple hours off brainy topics with the hope of sleeping tonight!

Good luck with school April!!
Thanks Isys--good luck to you with school, too! I am looking forward to everything but am still unsure about time constraints. I agreed to work part time but I can already see that my level of stress is going to be pretty high--I honestly don't know how beneficial I will be at work! I already told them that if I end up deciding that work and school is not, well, working then work is the first thing togo--either cutting hours or quiting altogether.
I am trying to stay on task and do both 1st though---it'll be better for my pocket book that way! There was an upperclass student who was a single mom but she didn't work and did classes on the weekends so that she has the entire week for family time and study. I know that there are programs available to me if I choose to quit work but I am not going to do that unless I have to.
April
When I was in school I actually volunteered at my kids' school on my short day.
April,
You go girl!
My best friend H is a lawyer- got her degree while living in student housing with her exh raising two little ones and giving birth to a third... hectic for sure! But she LOVES being a lawyer and I know you will as well :)
I'm sure you'll adjust to the new pace quickly!
Good luck with everything, April!!!
