This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy.

Yes, I know - are you going to ask him tonite???
I often wonder why people find it so hard to ask the direct question.
I used to think I would never get married again.

" There is another way of looking at your situation where you can just live in the question.
Men and the M word.....too funny!
For what it's worth, I have had the same experience with BE but I'm not concerned anymore. Here's what happened. After about 6 months or so of dating BE would talk a lot about "when we get married some day" even though he never proposed. He would just refer to our future that way. Once he said, "Do you think about getting married again?" And I froze because I am not ready for marriage again yet. Anyway, I guess it was nice to know he at least thought of it.
