I have been with women who have been in menopause. I did not know what it was and after understanding what my partner was going through then it was no biggie. It was the same for being with a woman who is going through her period. It may be embarassing but I saw it as part of a woman's life. I don't think it is something to be ashamed of or hard to talk about it. It is a natural thing.

I understood PMS and hot flashes are very uncomfortable and as long as the woman lets me know what is going on I can adjust accordingly.

The drawbacks for the hot flashes is being able to share the bed with someone who is just too uncomfortable with her temperature, etc.

Good luck,
Mark

Aren't you taking medications for this? My mom does, because she's one of the rare one's that has too, because it'll never go away. She is much happier now taking estrogen then she was suffering through that. Ten years is a LONG time, I think you need to see a doctor to get it under control. I think you handled it like a gem and i would have been mortified, but I agree with what Mark says. Sometimes those topics aren't great to discuss, but it's important to discuss. Big hugs and let me know if you are taking anything against that. You shouldn't be suffering like that. I've heard its AWFUL!

I think it's CG (Cute Gal). CW (Cute Widow) was before CG. LOL. I get it confused tho too sometimes.

Totally agree, Mark is a RARE breed.

Nope, that was CNDG, which he so kindly shortened to CG.
