I disagree with Ali, BUT I encourage you to start being a slewth. I would start by setting up a few parent teacher conferences and then start seeing if you can find out if he has a girlfriend or a wife or if he is really flirting with you. I would definitely wait until he makes a potential move. My Aunt started dating her son's teacher when he was in the first grade. That was over 20 years ago and they are still happily married. If he asks you out, go for it! I am sure he wouldn't be the type to go around dating classroom parents unless he was REALLY sure that he liked one.

Now Im with Ali on this one. Ever hear that saying about dating a co-worker "Dont poop where you eat" well it holds true even more when your kiddos are involved. Tread lightly on this one, it can be a very sticky situation. If the feelings arent mutual it can be an uncomfortable relationship for everyone involved...think trickle down to the small-fry involved. Be happy that you have a teacher with you childs best interest at heart and that he may be just really looking out for your child. Flirting is fun and sometimes when we need a connection we can find one thats not even there. I dont want to shoot down your hopes of starting something with a potential partner but keep in mind that every action has a reaction that can be far reaching. Thats all...just my 2cents. Sorry to be a party pooper. But on the bright side the fact that your ready and relishing in flirting is a positive sign. You have moved forward and like the idea of starting again. Its a good thing, to many of us get stuck and dont move forward...you are on your way. Best of luck.
