Hello ladies!

Saturday afternoon I answered an ad on CL for a guy who had an extra ticket to a show I wanted to see.

My professional (ha ha j/k) opinion is: give it about a week or 2, then casually suggest getting together.

A "Happy Birthday" text is sort of neutral, it doesn't really show him you're interested.

In my opinion, the "happy birthday" text was enough. thoughtful and shows him you are interested... leave the ball in his court. Guys don't forget that they like you ... if he's interested he will call or text or something. Give it one week... Be patient!

I'm glad you went for it and had a great time. Don't worry about the next one... yet.. savor this last date a little more before worrying about the next one... it seems sometimes we think so much about the "next" date that we don't stop and relish the fact that you had a great night. Savor it for a few days before worry about if \ when he'll call... and by the way, while you are waiting for him to call, answer another CL ad.. keep getting out there!!!

Cheers.

I don't think you messed things up because there would have been no AM smooches if you did. I say give him a week and hit him up if you don't hear from him.

Ok, I'm hearing that you had fun, mutual attraction and things in common... but did you talk about DATING? Did he mention he was enjoying the evening and the company? Did he say anything about going out again?

If you're interested in getting to know him further, then send him a note. Saying happy birthday is just politeness, and he may wonder if you're actually interested or if you're ok with just a night of fun and oops got drunk.

A quick email letting him know you had a good time and are open to seeing him again will clear any doubts either of you have on whether or not to pursue...

Good luck!
