My friends have a holiday party at their home every year. Jr is always there with his brothers and I am always there with my kids. My question is...we plan on going together but not sure about the kids this time. I have a party wed to go to that the kids won't be going to but this one is a big one and the kids are used to going every year and they know Jr. So I don't know. What do you guys think?

Well, my $0.02 is you go, have fun as you usually do and visit with not just Jr., but other people who are there as well. Be mature & casual. It's not like you're going to be making out with him under the mistletoe, in front of your children, right? And your older child already saw you holding hands...so you're "out" with that child (I think it's your DD, right?).

Just show them what a warm, mature, respectful relationship you're building with Jr. and how well he treats you. Nothing shameful or harmful in that.

GL...I know I'd be nervous as heck too!

I say go, if you feel comfortable with it.
