Inspired but what HotCarmel shared in her response in the Be Happy Not Perfect thread, today's question is: what brings you peace and joy?

I LOVE Hot Caramel's response. I wish I could de-stress enough to follow her example but I tend to be a worry-wart and that so often gets in the way of me finding peace...

When my little deaf cat wants me. He usually ducks when I try to pat him. When he wants me he really wants me.

LaLa-you have a deaf cat? How did you know he was deaf? We have wondered if one of ours is deaf or hearing impaired. She never meows, she isn't scared of the vacuum or lawnmower and will sit right in the bathroom when someone is drying their hair. lol

Hi Karla,

Yes, at first we thought it was a mental challenge, then we noticed he didn't react to any sounds. If we crank the sterio so that the house rattles he feels it but otherwise he could sleep though anything.

How interesting! It was our cat's lack of meowing that first had us wondering if she can hear properly. All our other cats (yikes we have 4) will go sit by the door and meow when they want to go out but she'll just go to the door and sit quietly until someone notices her.
