What was the worst thing your mom made you eat?

Does your family complain about a particular dish of yours that they prefer to no enjoy?

Food has always been good at my parents' house, there have only been a few mishaps when it comes to food. For me it's a toss up between frogs' legs, and carrot juice. Both were most probably excellent, but the idea of frogs' legs gave me the heebie jeebies, and I still don't like carrot juice.

I agree with you on the liver. My mother would make liver and bacon. My father and I would eat the bacon and she and my brother would eat the liver. And brussels sprouts. Can't stand 'em!

When we were sick my mom would put castor oil in vanilla icecream. As a little kid, I hated ice cream! It always had a "funny" taste to it. Parents do what they can to get little ones to taste medicine, so I don't fault my mom.

There were quite a few dishes that my mom cooked when I was a kid that I didn't like. But there are 2 that to this day I will not touch:

Lamb chops and veal (of any kind). I think my main thing with both dishes is knowing where the come from because both smell delicious when they're cooking, but I just can't get past what I'm eating.
