What time do you normally go to bed at night?


Do you feel sleep deprived often?

What time do you usually get up at in the morning? ~ Between 5.30 am and 7.30 am


What time do you normally go to bed at night? ~ Around 1 am.


Do you feel sleep deprived often? ~ Not that often.


Do you use anything to help you fall asleep? ~ Nope. When I can't fall asleep I listen to a guided imagery and I'm out within a few minutes.


What is the first thing you do in the morning other than going to the toilet and brushing your teeth? ~ I actually look at the news and read emails first thing in the morning.

I have to say I am astounded by the number of ye who wake up around 5. I get up at 7-8 and now feeling totally inadequate!

You know, I use the TV as well to help me dose off. It is usually the news or the Discovery Channel, I think the monotonous sound of the commentators is the key.

You know I keep saying I should try guided imagery but never do.. the same with meditation. U barely sleep 4 or 5 hours according to this,Poppy.

Just realised I did not answer my own questions....


1- I wake up around 7.30 on school days, 6 if I am working.


2-Bedtime is around midnight if not later. Depends on Facebook addiction...


3-I am not sure if I am sleep deprived all the time that I don't actually feel it anymore or if I just drink so much coffee that it doesn;t effect me.


4-The TV is a big help and sometimes a cup of herbal tea will set me on the right track.


5- On school days, I take my daughter to school then hit

I can run on 4 hours for exactly two weeks, and after that I need about 6 hours. The days I get more than 6 hours are rare, and surprising. Five is a good number for me, even though doctors say that one needs more.
