How're you doing with the orange hair? Did you have to see a colourist to repair it?

We should call you Terry then instead of Theresa? I love your siggie, by the way! It's very summery and happy.

LOL - now it's the wintry siggie :-)

That's great that red makes you look years younger! I've got a couple of friends who are redheads and I love that colour hair :-)

Do you change your hair colour all the time?

Just needs that *touch* up, LOL

Now I go in about ever two months or maybe a bit longer :)

Hey, you are like me. I let two or more months go by before I go to the salon for a dye job. My colourist mentioned a couple of months ago that she kind of admired me because I don't go all neurotic about roots showing LOL!

Yes, it's expensive!

I think we should have colouring buddies - take turns colouring each other's hair to minimize those spots that we tend to miss when we're dyeing our own hair.

Other — To change from natural color AND to cover the gray.

When I first started coloring my hair, it was pretty close to my natural color, but I've noticed that my natural color is getting darker and mousier in preparation for the real onslaught of gray, lol.

So, I've just begun the slow process of easing into going natural. I went one shade darker than usual at my last coloring. I'll keep it like this for several months, probably, before going a little darker yet. When I've reached what appears to be the correct base color, I'll add gray highlights as needed so that as it grows out I don't have an obvious stripe.

Yes, I've spent a bit of time planning this, if that's what you're thinking. ;-)

I have tried to dye my hair once,
It turned out awful
I will never, ever try to do my own again.
However I agree on the buddies for those that want to do their own :)

My adventure with colouring myself have not been disastrous, but certainly not as successful as a professional colouring job. I seem to miss spots here and there heh heh heh...
