soccer is not really my sport here...
DH, DS & my father will be watching, wishing they were there.
I've missed you so much!
So what are you going to do whilst the TV and the TVR are being hogged for the World Cup? What do you mean 2 weeks? Isn't it one month??
Thank goodness no one in my close group of friends is a huge huge football fan. Other friends were talking about dinner + football tomorrow night here (England vs USA) but that fell through and dinner is for next week instead, on a school night. Phew ;-)
I missed you, too, Poppy.
The first two weeks are intense with games up till June 25. Quarter finals are on the 2nd and 3rd of July, semi-finals are on the 6th and 7th of July, and finals are on the 11th of July.
Why don't you come and visit me here? We can spend our time at the spa ;-)
Oh, NOOOO!!!! A month!
I am not planning on watching any. Just very busy working these weeks. I think DH is following the match this evening though.
My mother was a huge soccer fan and made a point of making the world cup a family event. I did not inherit her love of the game but I don't mind watching the odd match.
