Today I'd like to know...
* Two things that really, really, really irk you
* Two happy memories from childhood
Have a great Tuesday everyone!
Two things that really irk me are litter and LOUD cell phone conversations on the bus.
Two happy childhood memories are dancing with my Grandpa, and making mudpies in the backyard with my little sister.
Had you asked this another time my answer would have been different ,
* Two things that really, really, really irk youOne HUGE thing that really irks me is all the nasty, sick, mean people!!
Ugh - I totally agree about litter! People here can still be so inconsiderate when it comes to litter and keeping the environment health (not to mention healthy) not only for themselves but for others.
Do you sometimes think that people ought to go through mandatory ear testing? I mean, what's up with the volume?
I love your memory of dancing with your grandpa. How very special and precious. Making mudpies, too!
Oh Hugs, I hope that you've not had to deal with mean, nasty people. (((((hugs))))))
People who text while driving are bad. Ditto with people who don't use a hands-free or bluetooth when they drive, or who talk to a passenger and don't pay attention to the road. They are dangerous. When I'm a passenger, I try to not talk too much, or keep the conversation light.
Aaawwww, that was so sweet of your friends to do that. A trip to Disney is special. My nephew still talks about his Disney trips.
Two things that really, really, really irk youa. People who are rude and inconsiderate.b. Corruption, and people who are corrupt.
Two happy memories from childhooda. My best friend :-)b. Being so proud with the results of my piano test - I had the highest score for the province that year
Ok, people like that are in their own special category. They don't irk me, they make me very angry. They ought to be skewered and quartered.
Your son should watch the Oprah show that talked about texting and driving. It was an eye opener! Does he at least use a Bluetooth headset when he talks?
Yeah, that's probably the solution. If I were on the phone a lot I'd probably get a Bluetooth, too.
Even though I don't drive I always have had the ear/mic piece. The sound is clearer especially in crowded places, I can talk low into the microphone instead of having to shout, and it leaves my hands free so that I can do other things at the same time - shopping, typing/working, etc.
