That's great on all those books you read Poppy,
I usually read out by the pool.
So if I don't go out .. I don't read, LOL
Weather is/has been a bit cooler .. low 80's .
Last week it was mid 70's & I loved it :)

We had the window opened ALL night after the storm...I shut it earlier because it was so windy you could hear it howling and I was freezing...lol...
I actually am wearing a sweater.
Tale end of Earl we are guessing...Lots of clouds in the sky definitely a departure from yesterday it was 27 more like 35.
Today it's a cool 16 40% chance of precipitation and 70% humidity.
And cloudy.
Very windy to!
Never even really noticed them moving in.
Haven't had a problem with too much noise.
It just bothers my ds if they are out on the balcony...looking n our apt.
We can't see inside their apt but if we didn't have the window covered they can look into our living room.
We have our tv set now where the table would normally be but we don't have one.
It took up too much room.
We moved our couch and desk.
He likes the panel I have up.
It's not dark so it lets light in but you can't see through it.
Still allows air-flow.

I hope that the neighbours are too noisy, so that you can still have the windows open. Do you have some kind of window treatment to give yourselves some visual privacy whilst still keeping the windows open?

A lot of times it's nice to read outside of one's usual genre, especially if it's an enjoyable book.

Do you still have warmer weather now, Hugs? I guess Summer isn't ready to go yet!

I have to confess that I wasn't reading a lot this whole of this year until I participated in the Summer Read-a-Thon. In three months I managed to read 23 books for the Read-a-Thon, and finished a couple more since it ended. It was the push that I needed!

We had a pretty good day yesterday, sunny and cool.
It was nice.
Both my ds and I slept better so much easier to breathe without the heat and humidity.
Overcast today.
We have new neighbours to one side of us.
Their balcony looks into our living/dining room so ds is glad it is a bit cooler so he can shut the window.
We have been used to little or no noise for a couple of months, no one was living there.

I won't spoil it for you so here are the basics. It's a funny novel that had me laughing out loud while reading it in the middle of the night about a woman obsessed with chocolate who ends upp sleeping with her best friend and how she deals with this in view of their relationship and their mixed friends. Really interesting and funny, not the kind of books I usually read but good nonethless.

Hi Lorie!

It's nice having cooler temperatures after a hot and humid summer. The heat can be very tiring!

Some books needs to be read slowly! Are you enjoying it?

Has the temperature started to go down, Hugs?
