1. Adult Acne
2. Combination complextion
3. Because of issues I have with my ovaries, I know get facial hair
Last year my acne was under control because I was on the birth control pill in hopes to rid my ovaries of cysts. It didnt do much for the cysts, but it did wonders for my skin; not a blemish or a pimple! I am not on the pill anymore because I have other gynicological issues and my doctor needs to see what all is wrong before putting me back on the pill. I've tried doing steam facials. It does work, but its a very slow process. I had some acne problems as a teen, but nothing major and got rid of it with Clearsil. It seems now that I'm an adult its gotten worse. Any advice on what acne treatments I should use?
What's a girl to do with facial hair? What are the best products to use to fight it. I never had this problem when I was on the pill, now its a never ending battle for me. I've used creams and even shaving, but within a couple of days (or sometimes in one day), I have to battle it again. I've thought about wax, but I've never used it so I'm not sure. I cant afford laser treatments or anything like that, so my best luck is something over the counter that a couple of weeks. This is becoming a problem and is not something I thought I would have to deal with at an early age. Any suggestions?
My combination skin has made it difficult to find a foundation that looks ok. I actually found one in Loreal, however I have to powder down a lot to make it look better. If I go for the foundation that is supposed to "last all day", it drys out my skin to the point where it looks like its flaking.
Since I live in Southern california I do use sunscreen under my make up before going out, so at least I dont have to worry about sun damage as well. Please give me any advice.
