I just finished my book and now I have nothing to read at work!

I just started Ape House by Sara Gruen. I'm not far enough into it yet to make a determination but it has gotten mixed reviews.

It's feeling like fall here. It's showery and only going up to 16C today (low 60s, I think). The days are also getting really short. I hate getting up in the dark to go to work. I made a pot of chili yesterday and that's a sure sign of fall.

I've recently started reading "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. It'll take me awhile to read it, because it's almost 1000 pages and lately my reading time has been at night in bed. But it's a book that I've been wanting to read for a long time.

It definitely doesn't feel like fall here. The daytime temps are still in the high 80s to low 90s.

I finished Ape House and really enjoyed it. It may not be quite as compelling as Water For Elephants but it still very good.

I started Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani last night. So far, so good.

I did not realize that each of the Twilight series is related to a classic

Really?

I loved Pillars of the Earth! I'm patiently waiting for Ken Follet's next book Fall of Giants to come out tomorrow. It's also about 1000 pages, but I'm glad because his books are such page-turners. I'll let you know how I like the new book later on.
