How long does/did it take you to get to work?

How do/did you get there - bus, car, train, subway, bike, walk, other?

Do you carpool?

Do you listen to something, read, daydream, think about the day ahead, plan, etc. whilst you are on your way?

How long does/did it take you to get back from work?

Do/did you manage to unwind on the way home or do/did you have to do that once you are home?

Fifteen minutes is nice. Long enough to have that distance between home and work, but not too long, either.

It's nice, isn't it?

I am going to have a long commute twice a week starting Monday - about an hour each way on a lucky day. At least the rest of the week I'll be working from home :-)

But you're still very, very active!

It's nice that you were able to do a few things after work, and it's great that your husband was a huge help!

Ok, so on days that you are in a hurry you don't want to be behind a buggy then.

How wonderful that you don't need to unwind on most days!

Ah, yes. I think a lot of mothers are in the same situation - they need to unwind before the car pulls into the driveway!

Do you often change shifts, HotCarmel?

Yes, I remain active, just not as much as I would like.
