Get tubes tied or Essure procedure?

Hi!! I am trying to decide between having my tubes tied thru laparoscopy or use the Essure procedure. With Essure no incision is made. You have to continue using birth control for 3 months after procedure. At that time you will go back for a test that uses a dye and special x-ray to make sure your fallopian tubes are blocked. Has anyone had any experience with Essure? Thank you.
