9/23: Yesterday was difficult to stay "on plan" as hubby and I had a 25th anniversary party to attend. I tried to stick to healthy snacking and I was fairly successful. The near plan buster was watching my grandson, last night, too. I fixed him a small bowl of cookies & cream frozen yogurt with strawberries. He ate a few nibbles and I finished it. It was not large, but my mind kept wandering back to the fact that I had a whole quart of frozen yogurt in the freezer. I won the battle of willpower though. Yeah-for me!! I did not go back for seconds. Today, I weighed in and expected to see no weight loss or if lucky I would see no gain. It was better than no gain though; I actually recorded weight loss, so I am on target (but certainly not ahead of the curve) to make my next mini-goal. Wish me luck on the next 2 pounds. I have been averaging slightly more than 2 pounds a week, so I should be fine, if I stay "on plan" for food and exercise.
Doesn't the call of food stink? I can be perfectly happy and then all of a sudden it's like, "OMG there are Oreos in the kitchen." That's when it becomes an inner battle.
Yay on being on target and 2 pounds a week! I haven't gotten on the scale in over a month. I'm too afraid too. I know I've put on weight, but my jeans still fit, so it can't be that much more. I'm afraid of seeing that my efforts aren't working either. I plan on doing a weigh in on October 1st to start fresh. :)

Tuesday (9/28) was another extra long work day, 15 hours. I was able to stay on plan for food. Exercise wasn't exactly on plan, but I did get in a 1.5 miles walk. Weight is holding. Note to self: holding is better than gaining. Surprise of the day: former coworker stopped by and commented on my weight loss. Great motivation.
Wednesday (9/29) was another long work day, 10 hours. I was able to stay on plan for food with only one little slip; I nibbled a handful of Doritos. Even though they are still calling my name as I type this, I promise to not eat any more. I am too tired to keep up a solid exercise plan, but I did walk 1.5 miles again today at lunch with a coworker. Weight saw a slight drop. I might just make my goal on Friday. Wish me luck!!
Thursday (9/30) was another long work day, 10 hours. It included lunch out with a former co-worker and a corporate dinner. With that said, I was able to start the day with 30 minutes on the treadmill and end the day saying, "I stayed on plan." Yeah. I only had a side salad at lunch and avoided the cocktails and appetizers at the dinner function. Again, yeah me.
