I want to make my mac n cheese in my pressure cooker. Im craving some mac n cheese. Right now, dh is working in the fields for harvest so its just me and the 3 yr old. How do I freeze then reheat my leftovers? I only have small glass or ceramic dishes. No disposable foil thingys.

Thanks!

Pressure Cooker Mac & Cheese

2-1/2 cups dry elbow macaroni

2 cups chicken stock

1 cup heavy cream

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 Tbsp butter

1/2 cup milk

1-1/2 cups cheddar cheese shredded

1-1/2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

Place macaroni, broth, cream, salt and pepper into pressure cooker. Secure lid. Select rice setting and set timer to 8 minutes.

When cooking is complete, add remaining ingredients to pressure cooker and stir until creamy.

Serve immediately.

Thanks! I would've never dawned on me to do the 50% power.

Can you do it in the oven too?

The recipe I have for mac n cheese in the pc is:

For the Mac part:

2 1/2 c of elbow mac

2 tsp chicken base, mixed into 2 c water

1 c water

2tbs butter or marg

1 tbs grated parm cheese

For the cheese part

2 c shredded sharp cheddar

2 oz cream cheese

1 tsp yellow mustard

add all mac ingredients to cooker, lock on lid and cook on high for 6 mins.

perform quick release, remove lid and stir in cheese ingredients until creamy
