They give details on how to make that table here: http://www.hgtv.com/living-rooms/build-a-factory-cart-coffee-table/index.html although the directions use wheel kits and the on in that photo looks like they used authentic antique casters... which is 90% of the charm, if you ask me!

I agree completely! I bookmarked it. I will be keeping an eye out for some old barn wood and antique casters. I actually have a smaller version (about 2' by 2' square and 18" high) that was made from a turn-of-the-century wooden box that carried beer from an old beer company. Love it.

Kellie, I have something along those lines too! It's an old antique beverage box (looks like this) that I unearthed at a small shop in the Berkshires recently (paid about $5). It's small enough and cute enough to use as a mini tabletop bar!

Welcome, marykate, to Decorating Dilemmas.

It is always nice to s how "real people" take similar ideas in their homes so thanks for sharing!

I see from your profile that you are acquainted with "wallpaper, paint colors, shopping Etsy and flea markets"! Sounds like you'd fit right in here! Hope to see you around as advice on wallpaper and paint colors are always asked for here... Your input would be very wlcome!
