With school starting I hadn't done any sewing or crocheting for about three weeks, but over Labor Day weekend we went to my parents' cabin and I was able to sit around and crochet quite a bit. This is the result:

I like those colors together! And that is quite a bit finished for one weekend - it looks like you doubled the size!!

I parked myself on the couch for most of Sunday and crocheted away! I had taken the multi-colored yarn that I was working on plus one skein of the blue that's on the outer band and I finished the multi and used up the entire skein of blue in a little over a day. I still need to finish up the lighter blue then do one more band each of the other two yarns. I'm hoping to finish up the afghan before Christmas so it can be
